How to Measure Yourself

A major mission of the By Megan Crosby brand is to be inclusive and make fun fashion for all of us. That’s why I offer custom sizing. It’s a bespoke service which is totally free at no additional cost to you, to ensure your garms fit you like a dream.

Top of arm

How to:

Grab your tape measure and wrap it around middle the top of your arm, like the drawing shows. Again, not too tight or you won't be able to move... no one wants that.

Neck to waist

How to:

So babe, remember the waist measurement we took a moment ago? Measure from the nape of your neck (just below where a choker or round neck top would sit) down to your waist.

Wrist

How to:

Now, I only need this if you're ordering a long sleeve item, so if you are, just follow the diagram girl! You got this.

Arm

How to:

So babes, you're gonna wanna measure from the top of your shoulder point, down to where a full length sleeve is gonna finish. 

Booty/widest area

How to:

You want to measure around the widest part of your lower body (this is usually ya booty, but we're all different babes)

Hips

How to:

Next, measure around your hips.  Make sure you use your hip bone as a guide or just follow the pic. 

Inseam

How to:

Measure from your crotch, down to where you'd like your trouser to finish.  Try and do this with someone to help to get the most accurate result.  Or, if it's easier babes, just measure from a pair of trousers that you already have that you love the length of.  Easy!

Outseam/Leg length

How to:

From the waist point we just measured a sec a go, measure down to just above your ankle. Try to get someone to help with this one if you can. No one wants an accidental ankle basher. Not a lewk.

Height

Finally gorg, we need your height.  This is so we can make sure that your dresses are gonna sit at the right spot for you & your trousers are gonna be spot on length.  If you're not sure on this, you're gonna want to measure from the top of your head to the bottom of your feet.  Maybe do it up against a wall, or get your bestie to help.

Thigh

How to:

Measure around the top of one of your thighs. It's super easy, but if you're not sure, check the diagram.
